Yishun’s Great Outdoors Allows Residents To Enjoy Area’s Natural Environment
Yishun, once the home pineapple and pepper plantations, is enveloped by the “Great Outdoors.” The 180,000+ residents who live here can enjoy the naturalness of the area and Yishun Town Garden, Yishun Park and Yishun Pond.
People who want to find an affordable place to live - a location that offers comfort and convenience –don’t need to look any further than Yishun. What all does this town have to offer residents?
It’s important to note that Yishun saw much of its development occur in the 1980s, with the first flats built in the Chong Pang subdivision. In September 2007, the Remaking Our Heartland program tapped it for revitalization, having since endured changes that boost positive living and lifestyles.
Yishun’s Residential Life
Yishun was divided into nine subdivisions – Khatib, Lower Seletar Reservoir, Nee Soon, Northland, Springleaf, Yishun Central, Yishun East, Yishun South, and Yishun West. No matter what subdivision you choose, you’ll have different housing options to pick from, including private or public housing.
